What we do
Our Services

Rescuing Pets
There are several ways animal rescues organizations rescue pets: stray animals are brought in, owners surrender their pets, and they go out to outreach communities to assist with spay/neuter and vet care. Although we do not do this ourselves as a pet food bank, we are proud to support the animal rescues as they work tirelessly to save lives. Please visit any of the animal rescue websites to read more on the amazing work they do to improve the lives of abandoned and abused pets

Supporting A Pet
At times, an animal rescue organization will bring into care an animal that requires extra care. Quite often, the special needs of that animal make it more difficult to adopt out, resulting in that animal becoming a forever foster. This means he will stay in the care of the rescue as a sanctuary animal until he crosses the Rainbow Bridge to ensure his needs are met. When this happens, animal rescues will offer the opportunity for the public to sponsor that animal to help pay for his special needs (food, vet care, special equipment,
etc). If this is something you would be interested in doing, please contact us for a list of animal rescues that have sanctuary animals.

Finding Pets a Home
The end goal of all animal rescue organizations is to find a loving and compatible forever home for their adoptable animals in care. If you are looking to adopt a new family member, please check out our list of rescues we have helped for links to their website or Facebook page.

Medical Services
Part of ensuring animals in care are ready for adoption includes veterinary care. A reputable animal rescue organization will not adopt out an animal that is not spayed/neutered, dewormed and up to date on all vaccinations. Although our list does
not include all local veterinary clinics and animal hospitals, please refer to it if you require veterinary care for your pets
